Recycling Station – Punto Verde Local
Proyecto Saladita operates the Punto Verde Local recycling station in Playa La Saladita. This community space is open every Sunday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, providing a dedicated drop‑off point for glass, aluminum, batteries, and plastic.
The station is located next to our office and serves as a hub for environmental action. By separating materials here, we prevent waste from ending up on the beach or mixed with common trash, and ensure that valuable resources like glass and aluminum enter proper recycling cycles.
The Punto Verde Local is staffed and managed by Proyecto Saladita, reinforcing our mission to combine community participation with environmental stewardship. Visitors and neighbors are welcome to bring their recyclables during open hours and join our collective effort to protect the coast.

Why It Matters
The Punto Verde Local is more than a recycling station: it is a community space that educates, empowers, and protects. By clarifying what materials are accepted, we ensure that recycling is effective, safe, and transparent. Every bottle, can, and battery collected here represents a step toward a cleaner coast and a stronger community.
