The Saladita Community Observatory is a community space for sharing wildlife sightings, seasonal events, and unique discoveries.
By contributing photos and observations, residents and visitors help create a living record of Saladita’s biodiversity, natural history, and local culture.
Together, we document, celebrate, and protect the natural treasures that make Saladita special.

El Observatorio Comunitario de La Saladita es un espacio para compartir avistamientos de fauna, eventos estacionales y descubrimientos únicos de nuestra costa y comunidad.
Al contribuir con fotografías y observaciones, residentes y visitantes ayudan a crear un registro vivo de la biodiversidad, la historia natural y la cultura local de Saladita.

Eco Hunt Playa La Saladita
Eco Hunt Saladita is an interactive game to discover the beach in a new way. It’s an invitation to reconnect with nature, observe it with curiosity, and care for it with respect. Eco Hunt La Saladita es un juego interactivo para descubrir la playa de una manera diferente. Es una invitación a reconectar con la naturaleza, observarla con curiosidad y cuidarla con respeto.
How it works / Cómo funciona

2. Choose the ones that inspire you and enjoy observing your surroundings. Elige las que más te llamen y diviértete observando tu entorno.
3. Share only your most special findings in the Community Observatory, so they become part of Saladita’s living catalog. Comparte solo tus hallazgos más especiales en el Observatorio Comunitario, para que formen parte del catálogo vivo de Saladita.

Special Mission:
Sea turtle sighting – Spot a nesting turtle, tracks in the sand, hatchlings, or other signs of sea turtle activity. Share your photo or observation and help celebrate one of Saladita’s most important natural treasures.
Avistamiento de tortuga marina – Observa una tortuga anidando, rastros en la arena, crías emergiendo u otras señales de actividad. Comparte tu foto u observación y ayuda a celebrar uno de los tesoros naturales más importantes de Saladita.
